Self-Custody Search

Self-custody wallets are different. They do not live on any company's server, and no email recovery will ever reach them — they answer only to a 12- or 24-word seed phrase. This chapter will be a methodical search of old notebooks, password managers, safes, USB drives, and decommissioned phones and laptops, with safe ways to verify a balance from a public address before ever touching the wallet itself.
